Nauset Beach is different. A lot different. Liam's is no longer the seafood Shack of beach goers anymore. The Dunes are knocked down and the entrance roads out to the ORV areas are replaced with pushed back sand from the once large dunes. It's going to a different year and hopefully next winter Nauset gets a little breathing space so it can recooperate a bit more from this winter.
We had a visitor in the office today. After work, I went down to the entrance road to Chapin Beach. It is a different world in the winter.
A small trip into Rhode Island on a quick day off. I wanted to play with the new camera a bit and decided to use the Lee Filter System to create some images
We walked past the Pamet Wash Over and into the cliffs. It was pretty amazing
Went for a short walk along Coastguard Beach to see if more of the peet and cedar swamp was visible. We found some interesting weather and surfers on the last of the storm swells.
Nauset After Bombogenesis
It is the calm before the storm
It was cold and I was bored. I tried some different lighting techniques on a budget
